A. PRODUCTS POWERED BY SAAS IN INDIA
MS2 believes and is excited at the growth potential of the technology start up industry in India and takes pride to contribute to the promotion of the start-ups in India. MS2 is also very optimistic on the Digital India and Make in India initiatives of the present Government of India.
It believes that the India has the potential to be the next silicon-valley. There will be many more unicorns incubated in India, who would have a global scale and success. India has an excellent and young talent people who have proved their capability across world. MS2 believes that they are capable of producing such success stories in India itself for India and for Globe.
The emerging trends support to this belief. The young generation is aspiring to be entrepreneurs than employees. They are dreaming big and dreaming global. There is a favorable eco system evolving. The Government is very supportive and there are very encouraging initiatives, legislations, environment and leadership. Industry and industry bodies are very supportive of this aspiration from the young people. Large enterprises consider the start-ups as their innovation department. The Indian economy is growing and will provide ample market opportunity for such start-ups in India.
The need to the aspiring young entrepreneurs is the adequate investment, right mentoring and network of ecosystems to innovate and succeed.
India has seen the success of many companies who have built a global brand in the technology services. The next wave is going to be in the Products and Platforms. There are already many success stories in the Indian market. We expect an exponential growth of such successful product and platform companies from India.
The digital technology is the happening place. There is wider adoption of this digital technology in various industries and sectors. The Government focus of digital India will accelerate this further.
To ensure Money and Success to the Ventures is what MS2 stands for. It endeavors to contribute in a small way to the grand success of digital technology product start-ups from India for India and for Global Market.
India aspires to be a Trillion $ manufacturing economy and a preferred global manufacturing hub — an area that promises large-scale employment and strengthens our country’s economic foundation. The new global business order, our recent thrust on “Make in India, Make for the World” and the China+1 strategy signal the right momentum.
Hard Power and Soft Power in Manufacturing
Physical infrastructure—roads, ports, power and logistics—is steadily improving, but structural gaps remain. Hard power alone will take time to achieve global competitiveness. India’s faster route lies in its soft power.
Digital Engineering powered by AI: The Game Changer
Digital Engineering reimagines how products are designed, simulated and manufactured.
· AI-driven Digital Twins enable virtual modelling, simulation, prototyping and virtual manufacturing cutting product development cycles by up to 50%.
· Predictive Analytics & Machine Learning for asset optimization, downtime reduction and lowering quality-related costs by 20–40%
· Generative Design & Additive Manufacturing enable complex product geometries, reduced material wastage, and mass customization at scale
· Cognitive Quality Control Systems powered by AI vision outperform human inspection in precision and speed.
Global Lessons: Proof That It Works
· Siemens deploys AI-powered digital twins across its factories, enabling efficiency gains of up to 20% in complex production systems.
· General Electric applies predictive analytics to its jet engine and power businesses, saving billions in downtime costs.
· Foxconn uses AI-driven quality inspection systems to achieve defect detection rates beyond human capability.
The Twin Horses: Infrastructure and Digital Engineering
India’s path to leadership lies in riding the twin horses of world-class infrastructure (hard power) and AI-enabled Digital Engineering (soft power). This combination will allow India to surpass China’s scale and Global competitiveness.
The Opportunity for Startups
For Startups in India, this shift creates a multi-layered ecosystem:
· AI Powered Digital Engineering SaaS platforms for collaborative design, modeling, simulation, prototype and testing
· Digital twin and manufacturing-as-a-service models
· AI-enabled predictive operations and energy optimization
· Cognitive Quality Control Systems powered by AI vision
· Workforce reskilling using AR/VR and AI tutors
These opportunities align with ESG imperatives and India’s PLI schemes, offering attractive valuations and global partnerships.
